Information according to the article 13 and 14 of the Regulation No. 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the EU Council from 27 April 2016, on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data, and repealing Directive No 95/46 EC (hereinafter “the Regulation“)

Providing you are registered as the owner of a real estate or entitled under another right in rem, we process following personal data about you:

Processed Personal Data Categories

Basic identification data: name and surname, title, birth number (is it not the case, then the date of birth), address of permanent residence (is it not the case, then the home address).
Additional information: information on the academic degree, scientific rank and designation of the academic staff member of the university with the title of associate professor or professor (hereinafter "degree").

Processing Purpose

Registration of rights to the cadastre.

Legal Basis for Processing

Processing is necessary for the fulfillment of our legal obligations (within the meaning of Article 6 (1) (c) of the Regulation) resulting from the Cadastral Act. Basic identification data on a natural person are registered into the cadastre in accordance with § 4, par. 2 of the Cadastral Act. As the keeping of these data in the cadastre is a legal obligation, the consent of the data subject is not required for their processing, nor can their deletion be requested. Pursuant to § 14, par. 6 of the Cadastral Decree, the information on the title is also kept, based on the request of the owner or another entitled person.

Data Source

The data source are the documents, based on which the rights are registered into the cadastre. Further, the data is compared and updated based on the Basic registry of inhabitants.

Planned Processing Time

Unlimited.

Data Recipients

The cadastre is public, therefore this data can be provided to anyone who requests it, according to the § 52 of the Cadastral Act. Only in case, the personal data are to be provided in the form of an ownership overview or in the form of a copy from the collection of documents, the applicant must prove his identity.

Data Transfer to third Countries

This data can be transferred to third countries, in accordance with Article 49 (1) (g) of GDPR, under the same conditions as in previous section.

Data administrator

Personal data registered in the cadastre are administered by the Czech Office for Surveying, Mapping and Cadastre (ČÚZK contacts) and processed by the cadastral offices.
 

Commissioner for Personal Data Protection

A joint commissioner was appointed for all offices of the branch of the cadastre and land surveying (commissioner contact).


Final information

You have the right to request a certificate proving that your personal data including other relevant information is processed in accordance with Article 15 of the Regulation.

If you believe that the processing of your personal data violates the Regulation, you have the right to complain at the Office for Personal Data Protection.
